How to install the subhood into your game:

1) Extract “RVSH” folder into “NeighborhoodTemplate” which is usually located:

C: > Program Files (x86) > Origin Games > The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection > Best of Business > EP3 > TSData > Res > NeighborhoodTemplate

C: > Program Files (x86) > EA Games > The Sims 2 Open For Business > TSData > Res > NeighborhoodTemplate

The path depends on what version of the game you have.

2) Before the installation I’d like to recommend you to back up your neighbourhoods folder in your Documents (just in case)

3) Run your game and then add the subhood into your main hood (you’ll find it in “Shopping districts” section). If you can’t see the list of subhood selection, this fix by Mootilda will come in handy.

4) After that, exit the game and run HoodChecker by Mootilda to fix inconsistent memories and disappeared gravestones on the community cemetery. It happens even when the neighbourhood is cleaned and has no issues before the attachment.

5) Unfortunately, the game also has a glitch that randomizes the names of townies and NPCs once a subhood is attached to any main hood. This script by lingeringwillx will help you to restore them.

6) That’s it! Everything should be fine by now. If you have any troubles with the installation or issues with the subhood itself, let me know in the comments section down below.

*Notes:

– the Friends household is not disappeared and can be found in the family bin, they had to move out from their apartment to avoid the corruption, so you will need to move them back there when you add the subhood into your main neighbourhood.

– you will also need to rehire service NPCs for the Brookstanton, Hargroves & Mauri-Clarke households (for some reason, they will turn into visitors on the lots once the subhood is attached).
